On February 12, 2023, at approximately 12:16 a.m., 23-year-old Pascual Guarchaj Lopez was fatally shot near the intersection of Lucas Avenue and Ingraham Street in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles. Responding officers from the Los Angeles Police Department found Lopez on a sidewalk, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
