On April 3, 2023, at approximately 1:12 a.m., 37-year-old Concord resident Oscar Laredo-Arellano was fatally shot in the parking lot of Farrington's Bar, located at 1938 Contra Costa Boulevard in Pleasant Hill, California. The incident followed a dispute between two groups inside the bar, which escalated and continued outside, culminating in the shooting.
