On April 25, 2023, at approximately 6:15 p.m., 16-year-old Jodien Brown was fatally shot at an apartment complex near Sussex Way and Clark Street in Fresno, California. Responding officers found Brown with a gunshot wound to the chest; he was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
