Death by Force

On the evening of June 13, 2023, at approximately 9:10 p.m., 16-year-old Sola Otti was fatally shot outside the Moritz Garden Apartments on the 14700 block of Washington Avenue in San Leandro, California. A 17-year-old companion was also injured in the incident but survived. According to reports, Otti had been called downstairs by a friend to meet someone in a car; an argument ensued, leading to the shooting.
