On July 10, 2023, at approximately 7:20 a.m., 27-year-old Alexis Walker was fatally shot in the 12200 block of South Willowbrook Avenue in Compton, California. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Century Station responded to reports of a gunshot victim and found Walker on a sidewalk, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.
