On August 30, 2023, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Union City police responded to a shooting in the 33500 block of Seventh Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 38-year-old resident Michael McNack suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
