Born on January 9, 1991, in Lompoc, California, Viviana had been a resident of Stockton since 2007. She was a devoted mother to five children: Emilio Jr. (14), Breanna (13), Derek (11), Kiko (5), and Rubi (2). Viviana was known for her vibrant personality, her love for dancing, and her commitment to helping others in her community.
Her unique laugh and beautiful smile left a lasting impression on those who knew her.
Following the incident, Viviana was transported to San Joaquin General Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. The Stockton Police Department initiated an investigation into her death; however, as of now, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified in connection with the case. The lack of leads has been a source of frustration and sorrow for her family and the community, who are seeking justice for Viviana.
In the wake of her passing, Viviana's family organized memorial services to honor her memory. A viewing and holy rosary were held on January 8, 2024, at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary in Lompoc, followed by a funeral mass at La Purisima Church and burial at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery on January 9, 2024. To support her children, a fund was established, with Teresa Acosta serving as the contact person for contributions. The family emphasized that Viviana was a victim of a violent crime and expressed hope that any assistance would benefit her children's future.
The community continues to mourn the loss of Viviana, remembering her as the life of the party and a proud member of the Monreal family.
