Death by Force

On February 18, 2024, at approximately 3:05 p.m., 43-year-old Ali Jabbar was fatally shot while walking with a group on the sidewalk in the 600 block of 16th Street in San Diego's East Village neighborhood. The assailant approached the group, specifically targeted Jabbar, and fired multiple shots before fleeing the scene in a silver or gray sedan.
