On March 4, 2024, at approximately 3:30 a.m., 35-year-old Mark Goode was fatally shot in the 15100 block of Vermont Avenue in Gardena, California. Officers from the Gardena Police Department responded to reports of a male down with a possible gunshot wound and discovered Goode with a gunshot wound to the torso. Despite efforts by the Los Angeles County Fire Department, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
