On March 21, 2024, at approximately 3:15 p.m., a shooting occurred at the University/65th Street light rail station in Sacramento, California, resulting in the death of 25-year-old Levell Murphy. Two other individuals, a man and a woman, sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital; the woman's condition was reported as stable, while the man's condition remained unknown.
