On April 6, 2024, 18-year-old David Perez of Stockton, California, was fatally injured during a shootout between multiple groups on Astor Drive. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m., resulting in Perez being transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Additionally, a 50-year-old man and two 19-year-old women were injured during the altercation and received medical treatment.
