Following an investigation, authorities arrested 40-year-old San Francisco resident Tyejahn L. Parker on May 8, 2024, in Fairfield.
Parker, who has six prior convictions, was charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with the April 26 shooting. The arrest was made after surveillance footage placed Parker at the scene, and he was identified by his current and former probation officers.
Parker was subsequently detained at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin. He was scheduled to enter a plea on June 9, 2024, at the Wiley W. Manuel Courthouse in Oakland. The case drew significant attention due to Parker's criminal history and the violent nature of the crime.
