Marcellus Bradley, a 27-year-old Oakland resident, was fatally shot on March 30, 2011, in East Oakland. The shooting occurred around 5:40 p.m. on the 2000 block of 55th Avenue, a neighborhood that has witnessed frequent violence. Bradley sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Highland Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
