On May 5, 2024, 18-year-old Jeremiah Walker, a senior at Grant Union High School in Sacramento, California, was fatally shot during a house party in the Natomas area. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on the 3100 block of Buchman Street, where officers from the Sacramento Police Department responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Walker with a life-threatening gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
