On the evening of May 11, 2024, at approximately 10:07 p.m., 20-year-old Brooklyn Mack was fatally shot while walking near the intersection of Paramount Boulevard and 57th Street in Long Beach, California. Responding to reports of multiple gunshots and a possible suspect vehicle fleeing the scene, officers arrived to find Mack on the sidewalk, suffering from gunshot wounds to her upper and lower body.
