Winston Demond Pearson, a 31-year-old Black male, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the driveway of a residence at 51 Marlow Drive in north Jackson, Tennessee, on the afternoon of July 14, 2024. Officers from the Jackson Police Department responded to a 911 call about a shooting at approximately 12:50 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered that Pearson had already succumbed to his injuries. Neighbors in the area reported hearing gunshots but did not witness the incident itself.
