On June 24, 2024, 32-year-old Erica Renee Whitson was fatally shot in Carson, California. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the 20000 block of Hillford Avenue, near Central Avenue and Del Amo Boulevard. Emergency responders transported her to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
