On June 30, 2024, at approximately 1:15 p.m., Palm Springs police responded to reports of a shooting near North Indian Canyon Drive and Garnet Avenue in North Palm Springs, California. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men deceased inside a white Toyota sedan: 27-year-old Jacob Lombardino of Hesperia and 37-year-old Glenford Gatewood-Quilter of Loma Linda. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
