On June 30, 2024, at approximately 12:28 a.m., Santa Ana Police Department (SAPD) officers responded to reports of a shooting near Bristol Street and Memory Lane in Santa Ana, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 20-year-old Fernando Manuel Lopez lying in the southbound lanes of Bristol Street, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper torso. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene.
