On November 23, 2024, at approximately 8:51 p.m., Santa Ana Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2000 block of South Wood Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 48-year-old Anaheim resident, Trino Steven Leon, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel transported Leon to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
