Charles Polk, Jr

On July 17, 2024, at approximately 11:26 p.m., 32-year-old Charles Polk Jr. was fatally shot near the 1300 block of 102nd Street in an unincorporated area adjacent to the Vermont Knolls neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Polk Jr. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
