On July 18, 2024, at approximately 11:02 p.m., 23-year-old Julio Saavedra was fatally shot in the 14100 block of Ramona Boulevard in Baldwin Park, California. Despite sustaining a gunshot wound to the abdomen, Saavedra managed to transport himself to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
