On September 2, 2024, at approximately 5:27 a.m., Riverside County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of gunfire at a residence in the 85400 block of Valley Road in Coachella, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 58-year-old Juan Sanchez inside the home, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical assistance, Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene.
