On the night of September 16, 2024, 57-year-old Darlene Washington was fatally shot in Vallejo, California. The incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. at the Avian Glen apartments, located in the 300 block of Avian Drive. Tragically, Washington was attacked in the presence of her grandchildren.
