On October 6, 2024, 45-year-old Joshua Loya was found deceased in a parking lot in the City of Industry, California. Authorities responded to a call shortly before noon and discovered Loya lying face up in the 14800 block of Don Julian Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner later identified the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the chest, ruling it a homicide.
