On October 16, 2024, at approximately 11:45 p.m., deputies responded to reports of a shooting on the 900 block of Fickewirth Avenue in La Puente, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 49-year-old Panfila Gabriela 'Bunny' Gallegos with a gunshot wound to the chest. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead in the early hours of October 17, 2024.
