Death by Force

Ignacio Romero, a 55-year-old Latino male, was fatally shot in East Los Angeles on November 3, 2024. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported that deputies responded to a call at 12:25 a.m. Upon arrival at the intersection of Dennison Street and Hicks Avenue, they found Romero lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene shortly thereafter.
