On November 3, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., 22-year-old Dayshun Quemani Tylan Walker was fatally shot near the intersection of Kit Carson and Revere Streets in Sacramento's Upper Land Park neighborhood.

Responding to multiple reports of gunfire, officers from the Sacramento Police Department arrived at the scene to find Walker suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
