On January 2, 2023, at approximately 8:00 PM, the Kingsport Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the Sevier Terrace community, specifically in the 500 block of Bellvue Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 57-year-old Mark A. Miller of Kingsport deceased, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
