On February 10, 2023, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Roane County Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported shooting at 262 De Armond Road in Kingston, Tennessee. Upon arrival, they discovered 24-year-old Deetta Shavesha Weaver lying in the side yard next to a mobile home, suffering from a gunshot wound. A second woman was present but unharmed. Emergency medical personnel pronounced Weaver deceased at the scene.
