On the evening of Halloween in 2023, tragedy struck in the quiet community of Mascot, Tennessee, when 33-year-old Andrew Buckner was fatally shot. Knox County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call about a possible shooting at approximately 7:45 p.m. in the 8500 block of Old Rutledge Pike. Upon their arrival, they discovered Andrew Buckner suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
