On the early morning of April 20, 2024, Christopher Cheeks, a 32-year-old male, was fatally shot in a robbery attempt in Nashville, Tennessee. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in an alleyway between Hayes and Church Streets, outside a music studio where Cheeks, a rapper from California also known as Chris King, was with a group of friends. Another 29-year-old man was also injured in the shooting.
