On April 20, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., 32-year-old rapper Christopher Cheeks, known professionally as Chris King, was fatally shot in Nashville, Tennessee. The incident occurred in an alley between Hayes and Church Streets, where Cheeks and his friends were approached by three men.
