On February 12, 2023, in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, 30-year-old Anthony Smith was fatally shot in his residence on Brandywine Drive. His girlfriend, Amanda Hughes, 26, contacted authorities, stating she had shot Smith following an alleged physical altercation. Upon arrival, police found Smith with multiple gunshot wounds; he was transported to Allegheny General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
