In the spring of 2023, the life of 22-year-old Na’Zae Baltimore was tragically cut short in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. On the evening of Friday, April 21st, the young man was leaving his grandmother's home on the 1300 block of South 13th Street with the intention of visiting his great-grandmother. At approximately 9:30 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the night, and Baltimore was struck by bullets. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene where they found him with serious injuries.
He was rushed to a local hospital, but his wounds proved to be fatal.
The death of Na'Zae Baltimore, a former high school prom king and talented athlete, was quickly ruled a homicide by the Dauphin County Coroner's Office. An autopsy was scheduled to be performed to officially determine the cause of death. In the days that followed, Harrisburg Police began a thorough investigation into the shooting. They publicly identified a vehicle of interest in connection with the homicide: a dark-colored 2018 to 2023 Honda Accord Sport. Surveillance footage captured the car driving erratically as it fled the scene, last seen heading south on Cameron Street.
Despite the release of information about the suspect vehicle and appeals to the public for information, the investigation into Na'Zae Baltimore's murder has not led to any arrests. As of now, no suspects have been publicly identified or charged in his death. The case remains an open and ongoing investigation by the Harrisburg Bureau of Police. They continue to urge anyone with information regarding the shooting or the suspect vehicle to come forward as they seek to bring justice for Na'Zae and his grieving family.
