On the evening of May 19, 2023, a tragic incident unfolded in Southwest Philadelphia, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Michael Goodwin and injuries to two teenagers. At approximately 8:48 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded to reports of a shooting on the 5600 block of Baltimore Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Michael Goodwin lying on the sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
