On July 1, 2023, in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, 57-year-old Carolyn I. (Hand) Eash was tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident. Authorities determined that her fiancé, 49-year-old Timothy Hanford, fatally shot Carolyn before taking his own life.
