Hakeem R. Murray, known to many as "HK," was tragically shot and killed on November 24, 2017, in the Parkway Gardens housing complex on Chicago's South Side. He was 22 years old at the time of his death. The shooting occurred shortly before 8 p.m., and Murray sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 8:53 p.m.
