In the quiet of a Monday evening in Chester, Pennsylvania, the life of 34-year-old Shante' Whitaker was tragically cut short. On October 9, 2023, while inside her apartment on the 1200 block of Curran Street, she was struck by a bullet that pierced through her living room wall. Police were called to the scene for a possible medical emergency around 9:30 p.m. and found Ms. Whitaker unresponsive and bleeding from her head.
