On November 27, 2023, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police responded to a reported shooting at a residence on Main Street near Pennsy Road in New Providence, Lancaster County. Upon arrival, they found 25-year-old Aidan Kimmet suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services transported Kimmet to Lancaster General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
