Death by Force

On February 15, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m., 48-year-old Hector Vargas was fatally shot in his residence on the 1400 block of Clayoma Avenue in North Codorus Township, York County, Pennsylvania. The incident also resulted in serious injuries to his wife, Maritza Saldana-Ramos, who sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Emergency responders pronounced Vargas dead at the scene, while Maritza was transported to York Hospital for treatment.
