In what began as a morning shift at a manufacturing warehouse in Blawnox, a suburb of Pittsburgh, a domestic dispute escalated into a fatal workplace shooting. Courtney A. Smith, a 30-year-old White female from Leechburg, formerly of Millvale, was tragically killed on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. The incident occurred at Tri-Arc Manufacturing on Fountain Street, where Smith was a valued employee and a member of the United Steelworkers Local 9445.
