In the streets of North Philadelphia, a story of violence and tragedy unfolded, culminating in the death of 19-year-old Namir Jernigan, a Black male known in the local rap scene as “Jumpout BM”. On the afternoon of Sunday, April 7, 2024, on the 2500 block of Harlan Street, a burst of gunfire echoed, leaving a trail of blood and over a dozen shell casings from three different caliber guns scattered on the pavement.
