On April 21, 2024, 39-year-old Omar Javarty Hakim was found deceased in his vehicle in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Police responded to reports of gunshots near East Moody Avenue and Carlisle Street around 7:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Hakim in the driver's seat of a green Chevrolet Tahoe, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
