On June 3, 2024, at approximately 5:59 p.m., officers from the City of Chester Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Frank Young Avenue in Chester, Pennsylvania. Upon arrival, they discovered 33-year-old Richard Lee Beauford lying in the middle of the street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics provided immediate medical attention and transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
