On a summer afternoon in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, the life of 20-year-old Dayveon Creel was tragically cut short. On August 15, 2024, during a lunch recess for an attempted homicide trial at the Northumberland County Courthouse, a violent confrontation erupted. It was in the vicinity of the courthouse, near a Weis Markets on Market Street, that Creel was fatally shot in the chest.
