In the quiet town of Butler, Pennsylvania, a Tuesday evening in November was shattered by a sudden act of violence that claimed the life of 47-year-old Christopher A. Waggett. On November 5, 2024, police were called to the 200 block of American Avenue around 9:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Waggett on the ground with a gunshot wound, as bystanders desperately tried to render aid. Despite their efforts and those of the medical personnel who soon took over, Waggett succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced dead.

Sean Williams was arrested and charged with criminal homicide for the death of Christopher Waggett. He was subsequently transported to the Butler County Prison.
