On November 8, 2024, 19-year-old Gabriela "Gabby" Morgan of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, was tragically killed in a violent incident involving her ex-boyfriend, 21-year-old Ricky Shannon. The events unfolded in the early morning hours when Shannon arrived at the Sassafras Terrace Apartments, where Gabby was staying with her family.
