On the evening of January 11, 2023, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Gastonia Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots in the 100 block of West Sixth Avenue in Gastonia, North Carolina. Upon arrival, officers discovered 34-year-old Braxton Devin Farquhar deceased outside his residence, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

During the investigation, authorities identified Farquhar's 23-year-old stepson, Christopher Lee Hill, as the primary suspect. Hill had previously resided at ...
