On February 27, 2023, at approximately 2:00 a.m., a violent altercation erupted outside Gatsby's Pub, located at 1157 Burke Street in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The confrontation involved a large group, and during the ensuing chaos, multiple gunshots were fired. Tragically, 35-year-old Quante Donnell Wilder sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite prompt life-saving efforts by first responders, Wilder succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
