On July 22, 2023, at approximately 12:50 p.m., a shooting occurred at a BP gas station near Eastover, North Carolina, just off Interstate 95. The incident resulted in four individuals being shot, including 40-year-old Nicholas Tavel Grady of Fayetteville, who succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.
